Nice to hear from you again. As you know， this summer vacation，at the end of July，we winners of NEPC will go to a four-day English Summer Camp in Dalian. Some English teachers from China， the USA， England and Australia will join us. In the camp， we will have some English speaking competition， watch some wonderful performances given by the students and visit some places of interest in Dalian. Besides，we will exchange our English learning experience and talk about our colorful school life in English. I think this summer camp will greatly improve my spoken English and I will make some new friends there. I do hope you will come and join us.

Travel-mate WantedI’m a 19-year-old female sophomore named Fu Ping. I hereby earnestly invite a foreign young lady—college student preferred—to make a three – week touring trip with me.My plan is to set off next weekend, when the summer vacation officially begins. The first stop is Kunming, the world-renowned city for its beauty and mild temperature. We’ll get there by train and stay there for 2 days, and then we’ll head for Jinggangshan, a former revolutionary base as well as a natural beauty spot. After a 3-day visit there , we will take a long-distance coach to a nearby port city by the Changjiang River and board a downstream ship to Shanghai, so that we can enjoy the great scenery alongside the third longest river in the world. As everybody knows, Shanghai is the busiest and fastest developing city in China. I’d like to have a look at its prosperity, so the stay there will be about half a week. And a famous Chinese saying goes, ”Just as there is Paradise in heaven, there are Suzhou and Hangzhou on Earth ”, so a 4-day visit to these two cities near Shanghai is must. Last summer I went to Vietnam with my parents. We stayed at a small village outside Saigon. The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos. Though it’s a very poor country, the kids seem to be happy. They live with their farmer parents in little houses built with dirt and straw and help out a lot in the rice field during the day. They don’t have TVs or Internet, but they enjoy a lot playing outside. It was a very memorable trip that I will never forget.

Thirdly, we can learn much knowledge form travel. Before you go to somewhere to travel, generally, you need to make plans for your travel. You can find lots of things you don’t know when you make a plan, such as, the origin of a certain area, the customs of different areas, local food and so on.
In conclusion, we can not only relax ourselves and make new friends but at the same time we can learn much from travel.
