Recently,I have been reading a book named Communication Arts. In this book, the authorDoctor Li introduces many methods to communicate with others successfully andtells readers why everyone should be a polite person. My favorite sentence inthis book is “Everyone has potential, and everyone can determine your ownfuture by developing positive psychological, mastering communication arts andshowing your personality charm. In that way, you can have a wonderful life!”
Duringwhole sections, this book tells us human should live in a large group, since peoplecan’t solve all problems by their own. For that matter, human beings shouldlearn a series of manners to deal with any situation which might happenwherever and whenever. After that, Doctor Li makes a point that people need torealize how to resolve disagreements between friends, families or colleagues. There always appears this kind of situation in social life, so it’s importantto understand how to settle it. Finally he teaches us that communicationtechniques not only reflect in normal talk but also within body languages.
Ineach part of the book, the author takes a large number of examples in dailylife to confirm his points. These examples in daily life are easy to understandand accept.
Afterreading the book, I find many shortages of my communication skills. I used tolack of patience when I talk to others, even got mad at them. This was impoliteand might destroy relationships between my friends and me. Therefore I wouldtry my best to improve myself and be welcome.
My View on Job-Hopping
Nowadays, many youth changes their jobs frequently which have aroused large focus by public. Some people think young people should stick to one job until they learn things. But others think if young people have higher salary or position, they could change their jobs as well as they like. In my opinion, I prefer the second one.
Firstly, many students don’t know what kinds of job they really want after graduate, but if they practice and change constantly, they may find the favor one. Moreover, change means step forward. Of course, they will choose the one with high pay or high position.
Secondly, changing job means knowing more people. Youth could learn more skills from different bosses and colleagues, and make friends with ex-boss or workers; It must be huge relation recourse for their career.
Thirdly, changing jobs could exercise youth’s ability, especially adaptability. When young people meet the new environment and new people, they need times to adapt all of it. If they experience more, they would make themselves become the member of the collective as soon as possible, which also advantage for their works.
To sum up, it’s reasonable to change their jobs if youth have the chance.
Should One Expect a Reward When Doing a Good Deed?
Nowadays, there has been a hot debate inthe public over the issue whether one expect a reward after doing a good deed. Some think it’s human nature to want return if he gives, but other against thathelp others out of trouble is the basic personal quality, should not be relatewith money. For me, I agree the last one.
First, Good deed is the traditional virtuesof the China, which has spread far and wide for thousands years, if everyonehold the idea of “No reward No help”, the spirit of Lei Feng would bedisappear.
Second, good deed belongs to voluntary work; personal interests should not be thepurpose of helping others. The actions should be done with our true heart, whenit comes to without getting paid, people would not consider unbalance in mind.
Third, there is old saying goes,” One goodreturn deserves another,” which indicates that helping others sincerely aresupposed to result from unexpected rewards, such as the respect from others ora sense of achievement.
Tosum up, No matterdoing good deeds should get returns ornot, the most important thing is when others being in trouble, we should tohelp them without hesitate.
